Gerber Innovations is pleased to announce that it has taken over the exclusive rights to distribute the YWDS Multi Bender range of rule processors and benders within North America. The complete range of flat and rotary benders will now be sold under Gerber's "M' brand name and compliment its other products which include the M Laser, Waterjet, and the patented "Profile" die tool production system.

All future service for existing Multi-Benders will be provided by Gerber Innovations service department. As part of the agreement, Gerber will work closely with Ameriken (the former exclusive distributor of the product range) to ensure a smooth transition for all existing customers.

Ameriken will continue to offer all AD and MB Perishable Tooling and continue its fast tool re-sharpening service. In addition, Ameriken will work closely with Gerber Innovations to promote its complete line of cutting hardware. David H. Buckley, President of Gerber Innovations stated, "We are extremely delighted to be able to offer this new line of equipment given it was the missing piece of the jig-saw in our ability at offering a complete ‘one stop shop' to the die maker. After much research we were convinced that the Multi Benders "Bend First, Cut Last" approach was the most accurate and efficient method available. Aside from our new partnership with YWDS, we are also very pleased to have formed a strategic relationship with Ameriken whose reputation clearly speaks for itself.

Gerber will shortly offer demonstrations of its new line of benders alongside its other equipment within their new showroom in Wilmington, MA.
